August 2010 Time Trial

Despite the wet and slippy conditions, 32 entrants took part in the August time trial.  The course also had a few extra obstacles to get around due to building works soon after the start to run around and a fallen tree to get through about half way, which together with the weather didn’t help fast times.

The winner was Ernest Wong in 18min48 from Chee Evan in 19:01, with 3rd place going to the first woman Alice Hector. In 19:06.  We were very glad to Andrew Hallam back running again and he came in a very creditable 5th place.  A total of 27 finished under the qualifying time of 25 minutes.

Many thanks to the volunteers for organizing and marshalling the event.
